I surrender

And I even got close enough to get a head shot, and he still didn't move

Garden Visitor

You'll need to click on the photo to get a better view, but it was a surprise to look out of the kitchen window yesterday tea time to see a kestrel had landed on the shed roof after catching his tea.  This was the best picture Daniel could get before it flew away.  A glorious, if unexpected sight

Yes Bear, we still love you

Oh look, mummy is trying to take a photo of her stitching, that's just the right size for a nap mat.

Plop!  I can't hear her telling me to get off

If I stretch my head further away, she'll leave me alone.  I can't see her, so she's not there

Oh, what's Daniel got?  I can't resist a tape measure, got to go

Love Hurts

Yesterday, we had to take Tugger to be put to sleep.  It looks as if the poisoning earlier in the year had compromised his system.  He had lost a lot of weight, his kidneys, liver, and possibly his brain had things going wrong with them.  I had to take the decision to end his suffering as they weren't hopeful that if they did all the tests and found out what was wrong, that they would be able to put it right.

It seems so wrong that such a young cat had to go in this way.  We shall certainly miss his squeaky miaow.

Not a Happy Kitty

No ill effects after spaying, but that collar just doesn't do much for one's looks!  Not only that, it keeps catching on things, and no matter how hard I shake my head, it won't come off.  Every one laughs at me when I drop food in it.  Sometimes, a week can be a very long time!
